Growing up I lived in the guidance and studies of my mother and aunt- both beautiful, intelligent, and incredible chefs constantly entertaining their loved ones and business associates. Etiquette and education were of great importance, image of course being among them.
I am very grateful for all the little things in life, as well as the big things. too. I am fortunate to have such a wonderful fiance with whom to enrich my life with, as well as all the wonderful followers who share my interest in all things food, fashion, elegance, travel, luxury, and happiness.
From my experience in working as both a Fashion Model and a Maitre’D to a fine dining restaurant I have learned many secrets and tricks of the trade from all angles. Having been fortunate with so many influences, I have created quite a number of my own secrets and techniques which have treated me very well.
My work and leisure have taken me to Paris, Nice, Provence, Cote d’Azur, Madrid, Barcelona, New York, Las Vegas, and Miami-which has been home to me for quite some time- and constantly growing with new experiences. With the friends I have made and the secrets I know I am happy to share them here for you to indulge upon as well.
As the world is constantly moving, I encourage you to share your own found secrets and gems as well. Nothing is too small.
25 Random Things About Me
1. Image and Gastronomy are my main hobbies and interests.
2. I’ve loved being wrapped in fur ever since I was a child- do love minks and foxes still.
3. I have a collection of vintage hats.
4. I have two kitties, Aveline and Ulrich, which a friend refers to as my bitchy daughter and fat son.
5. I can eat my weight in lychees (with zyr vodka especially but not necessary)
6. My family background is from France and Spain. (though people like to guess just about everything).
7. Love tradition and am very old fashioned with a modern twist so to speak; love knowing where things come from, history, language and culture.
8. I love to cook and host parties- neither are ever a disappointment.
9. I love cheesecake and key lime pie (the real key lime by the way).
10. I have at least one shoe in every color and am forever growing the collection.
11. I love electronic, industrial, and classical music (piano and violin especially).
12. Elk is my favorite. Fois Gras is a close second (served fresh and warm).
13. I am always in a skirt/dress and heels. Seriously.
14. I think cereal and milk is best late at night.
15. I love the drinking chocolate of Spain and wonder why it has no presence here.
16. I like my meat rare, *seriously* rare.
17. I have a thing for luxurious items, and having them around me. Makes me feel at home.
18. I drink and I eat, both in pleasantly grand amounts. also nom.
19. I’ve nearly experienced death on at least three occasions and completely stopped breathing on one.
20. I’ve lost everything and have had to start over, gained much gratitude and and freedom from it.
21. I love bows; they are darling. also- gems and crystals… shiny pretty things are fabulous.
22. I don’t need a reason to wear a gown, I’ll just wear one because I want to.
23. I love wine, champagne included.
24. The stinkier and runnier the cheese the better.
25. I love pairing cigars with single malt scotch, dark belgian ales, and port.
