Pretty In Pink For Spring
April 2, 2010

Spring is here and pastels have returned to style. Nudes and light pink shades are especially very nice this season. My latest find is a very pink and girlie number that is… well, as girlie as it gets! With a beautiful mix of textures, layers, and even a beautiful pair of shoes to match- this is a spring feminine dream.
DRESS: SHY SHY Set-Sequined Tulle Camisole + Satin Tulle Hem Slipdress
SHOES: STYLE LINE Open-Toe Platform Stilettos

Both these pieces are available from YESSTYLE. The shoes are available in a few different colors, and as tempting as the classic black pumps are, I had to go for the pink and push the girlie factor with this whimsical dress.
Just look at all the elements going on here. Sequins, satin, a frilly skirt and mix of textured layers all come together with the single light pink color base. The shoes keep the color a solid look and add an extra girlie touch with a heart shaped charm. With girlie numbers like this, spring has a lot to offer us this year.

These shoes have a nice cushioned feel to them and the design is very playful. Color aside, check out the detail of this zipper design and heart shaped charm finish:
A classic high heeled peep-toe shoe gets a whole new look with a zipper accenting line and charm in the back. In any color, these shoes rock!
I actually have a few pink dresses and tops in the same shade and am looking forward to matching them with my new heels. But this dress takes the show, it’s just darling and perfect!
What colors are grabbing you this spring?

So Actually I widely think that this kind of pastel/pink chromatic palette softly illustrates a (delightfuly Dizzy on you) “Stylish Girly Soul” idea, whose Appeal is highly dedicated to have an Universal Relevance . . . far beyond Seasons/ Tendancies’ whims and vagaries !!!

Love the shoes and the dress you look amazing!
want to link exchange?
those shoes are too cute! (and you are too!)
I love the shoes, especially love the detail in the back. I guess I can say that I’m a shoes freak. I’ve been collecting since I was 22 years old, I’m now 36. I buy one pair every month supposedly..hehe I always ended up buying several pairs a month. It’s a way to reward myself after working so hard. It’s an enjoyment as much as an excitement for me. Thanks for sharing =)
I love it! pink is perfect for spring!
Are you anorexic? You look horrible
Thank you all so much! I want to wear these shoes each chance I get, they are so adorable. It has been a crazy busy week over here and I have lots of fabulous updates for you, so stay tuned. My apologies for the delay in my response, but I am back!
He- we definitely can and I will send you a message.
May- I love it. Years ago when I had a roommate, we wore the same size shoe and dedicated closets in the house just to shoes.. it only hurt when my foot grew another size and a half out of no where. But, it just means more shoes…
I think it is important to reward yourself!
“Me”-No, it is a matter of genetics and a fast metabolism (a blessing and a curse). Much like my mother, no matter how much or what I eat it doesn’t stay on so I make the most of it and am happy as I am.
Bomshell I only wish I can share or have someone share with me. I’m a 5 – 5.5, most of my friends are between 7 and 10. I may have some that are 6, but it’s not usual. There are time I wish my feet are bigger because every time I find shoes I like, it’s not in my size.. I guess that’s a problem for me. =( Yes, I agreed it is important to reward yourself. Keep sharing.. Don’t listen to negative pple, it is more important that you feel comfortable with yourself rather than have someone tells you otherwise. =0)
You are absolutely gorgeous!! And I love those shoes so much!
May, it might be a blessing in disguise since all the designer shoes available during the sales are display sizes, meaning the smallest. I will say when you have the same size as everyone else then the popular designs are also the first to go. And yes, we must reward ourselves
No worries on negativity, some people are just like that and I don’t think anything of it. Opinions without facts are just opinions
Ashley, you are a doll- thank you. And the shoes are fun, fun, fun! I hope you have been well! (PS, that dress on your latest post is adorable, I love it).
xx
Bomshell, That is so true. Tho, a lot of the brand would not carried shoes in smaller sizes, some would only go as low as a 6. My feet are very particular and couldn’t fit in many many shoes that I found “HOT” haha but, Some how I managed to buy a lot of shoes LoL. Love the way u put it and most of all love the way u think and handle those negativity.
