I completely agree with your thesis. I bought a romper recently that was very plain and could have been mistaken for boring, but it had small details such as drop armholes and an open back that made it more interesting. But, it was very voluminous and it looked like I was wearing a plastic bag (although, it was very comfortable). I added a vintage belt and a clutch and it made for a very sophisticated night look.

At first, while I was getting dressed, I was complaining about how plain I felt. But, my friend reminded me that I once told her (long ago. I had forgotten) that accessories could make anything more interesting, and that's when I opted for the belt and bag.

Love the blog!

I think that this kind of Dress ideally emBODYies an everlasting "Girlie CHIC" vibe, with such exquisite 60's aesthetic reminiscences !!! I really like the way your belt nonchalantly shapes your long limbed silhouette, AND the way your (astonishning !!!) dark mane seems in symbiosis with your finery . . .
ps: Mmmh with your creative nail polish as the mischievous "Gothic twist" ? Mmmh simple "GLAM forecast" . . .
